Description

Hello i use iPhone 1.14 and installed MobileScrobbler? 1.4.2 via the installer. When i enter user and password i get the message, that one of this parameters is wrong. But i am sure they are correct. Is this a common bug?

No both contain only characters from A to Z, a to z and numbers from 0 to 9.

I created an other account but the problem still remains. It seems to be a general problem. Therefore my question can I help to solve the problem?

I am having the same problem. It quit working after I changed my password on the last.fm site from 6 a-z charaters to 10 a-z & 1-9 characters. I have had my debuger enabled the whole time if you need it. The error I get is: error incorrect password. It pops up multiple times and momentarily locks up my phone. I've tried changing my password many times with no success.

Try turning off scrobbling and then restarting your phone. Then re-enter your username and password in the "Last.fm Account" menu. When you tap the back arrow after entering your password, it should test your username and password. Does it display a checkmark after that test? Or is that where you're seeing the error message?

Yes it shows a checkmark but when it goes to "scrobble" a popup comes up and says either the username or password is incorrect.

I set my password to 5 characters (a-z) and got it to login successfully. Changing your password to only a-z characters seems to be a temporary fix to the problem.

having this problem also. no manner of password change, or the suggested reboot trick, get the background scrobbler to work. using the last.fm client application works just dandy though.

Is the last.fm desktop software able to scrobble your tracks, or do the tracks just end up in the queue? (help → diagnostics in the desktop software will show you if they're queued or not).

I changed my password saturday and now neither the desktop software or mobilescrobbler will accept my password for scrobbling, but the radio plays fine. I'm looking into the issue.

Desktop software works fine for me after a password change. On a mac, go figure :)

It seems as though it doesn't want to accept passwords that are any longer than 5 characters. I was having the issue until I shortened my password.
